Our own Eduardo Gonzalez Loumiet, Managing Director and Project Manager, will present at the CDC InfoLinks Webinar Monthly call on July 8 at 2pm ET.

The main objective of the project is to achieve electronic data exchange interoperability between states, including sharing influenza surveillance laboratory test orders and results. The goal is to be better equipped to prevent or delay the spread of influenza and other illnesses, as well as dramatically improve potential surge capacities for situations such as H1N1(Swine) flu. More information on the Texas-Florida Collaboration can be found here. Also, click here to listen to Grace Kubin from the Texas Department of State Health Services present a summary on the project at the CDC’s PHIN Conference in 2009.
